The first of the six properties to open will be Wyndham Wallaroo Shores. Featuring 100 villas located idyllically beachside in the Yorke Peninsula town, each room can accommodate up to four people in the two-bedroom lodge. Swimming pools, tennis courts, BBQ areas and a 42-seat luxury cinema round out the list of incredible built-in facilities that is set to make this resort one of the finest in the state.

Set to open later this year, Wyndham Wallaroo Shores will be closely followed by the opening of the groups second SA hotel, TRYP, in November. An upmarket CBD lodging, the 120-room construct will match Adelaide’s thriving city culture with a contemporary restaurant and bar that, overlooking Pulteney Street, will undoubtedly be one of the hottest spots to be.

McLaren Vale, Playford City and Victor Harbor are also set to have a brand new Wyndham resort added to its repertoire within the next three years. Victor Harbor council are expected to approve construction towards the latter half of the year with building starting early 2023.

If there is one positive from the pandemic, it’s the revival of domestic travel with those wishing to cure their itchy feet opting to do so locally. And with the state’s tourism sector only looking to get bigger, South Australia will soon be at the top of everyone’s travel list.
